About InterviewKata
InterviewKata is a free website for preparing for software engineering interviews and for learning the material properly: coding patterns and data structures, low-level design, design patterns, system design, software architecture and architecture styles, behavioural interviews, and AI engineering. There's no sign-up, no paywall and no advertising.
Who builds it
InterviewKata is built and maintained by Sunil Bodeddula, an independent software engineer, as a personal project. You can reach me on LinkedIn.
It is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any employer, LeetCode, or any company or product named on the site.
How it's made
- Research first. Pages are written from primary sources: official documentation, papers, model cards and vendor docs. Each page links to its sources and says when facts were checked. Where a number is illustrative or calculated, the page says so.
- Built with AI assistance. The pages, code examples and visualisations were written and built with the help of AI tools, then reviewed and tested. Mistakes are still possible; please report them.
- Audio episodes are synthetic voices generated with Kokoro, an open text-to-speech model. They are not recordings of real people.
- Interactive by design. Step-through animations, exercises, quizzes and a spaced-repetition review deck, because doing beats reading.
Corrections and feedback
Found a mistake, an outdated fact or a broken link? Have an idea for a topic? Send me a message on LinkedIn. Corrections are very welcome, and I update pages when the facts change.
